ABOUT US

president

I have been involved in the non-life insurance business both in Japan and abroad for the past 26 years. I have worked in Japanese insurance, European insurance, and other fields but I have always wondered why there is so little insurance that actually meets the needs of customers. Customers often believe that insurance will protect them, and while the situation is more complicated from the point of view of the insurance provider, the fact of the matter is that insurance only compensates for economic losses after a period of danger has passed. It has no preventative effect whatsoever.

In the crisis / risk management field there existed services aimed at avoiding dangerous situations and services that provided assistance in the event of a crisis. However, at the international level, companies that provide intelligence or offer advice on medical or security services, or on the development of in-house manuals, operated within their own areas of expertise. It was not possible to find a service that that provided comprehensive wide-ranging support for employees on overseas assignments.

These services were only available in a piece-meal fashion and as emergency responses were not coordinated, the costs were high and a great deal of effort was required. This is what prompted us to develop our International Safety Support Program.

The International Safety Support Program offers a package of specialized services in order to respond to any kind of risk. It also provides advice on how to create an internal safety manual, how to develop services based on specialized consulting, and how to formulate preventative safety measures. Through this program, we work side-by-side with our customers` risk / crisis management department.

Furthermore, we provide advice relating to small claims and short-term insurance, and the establishment and management of mutual aid systems. As we started out as an insurance company, we are able to offer total assistance through or consultants who are experienced in product development, agency management, small claims and short-term insurance, and the registration and establishment of mutual aid systems.
